Answer every call yourself
Interruptions on every job. Spam and tire-kickers eat the day. You can’t be on a roof and on the phone.
Granite Answering is an AI receptionist built for trade shops. Riley picks up 24/7, flags emergencies, takes the full details, and sends you a lead card. She never quotes prices. You’re still in charge of the job.
They call the next shop. Same for burst pipes, AC outages, and “can you come today?” If your line rings while you’re under a boiler — or after you hang up the closed sign — that lead is someone else’s unless someone answers.
Interruptions on every job. Spam and tire-kickers eat the day. You can’t be on a roof and on the phone.
Most homeowners hang up. The ones who needed help tonight already dialed a competitor.
Works — and often costs hundreds more per month for generic scripts that still miss trade urgency.
AI built for trades intake: emergencies flagged, details captured, no price quoting. Start nights & weekends only. Hear her before you spend a dollar — (781) 566-8243.
Built for owners who are on a job, closed for the night, or just can’t pick up every ring. She handles the intake. Your team decides what happens next.
Every inbound call gets a live pickup. Riley identifies herself as an AI assistant and notes that the call is recorded — the way Massachusetts expects.
Burst pipe? No heat? Price shopper? She flags urgency, walks through safety when it matters, and gathers name, callback, address, and the problem.
You receive a clear summary — who called, where, what’s wrong, and how urgent it is — so you or your on-call tech can follow up with the full picture.
Start with after-hours only, or cover the line while trucks are out. You choose the schedule.
She won’t ballpark a water heater or promise a time window. Your shop owns the quote.
Switches when the caller needs it, so fewer hang-ups on language alone.
Gas smell and similar calls get clear leave-the-building / call-911 guidance before anything else.
Call the demo line and pretend you’re a homeowner with a late-night emergency. Riley answers as a fictional plumbing & heating shop so you can hear the real flow — no form, no credit card, no salesperson first.

Greater Boston trade shops that lose work when the phone goes to voicemail — especially after hours and while you’re under a boiler.
No-heat at 9 PM doesn’t leave a voicemail. They call the next shop. Riley catches those calls and gets you the details.
Overflow and after-hours coverage without standing up a full answering service — or as a cheaper backup beside the one you already have.
Built for shops where the owner’s cell is still the front desk. Start nights and weekends only; keep answering daytime yourself if you want.
Granite Answering is early-stage. We’re not going to invent five-star review walls or “trusted by 500 shops” banners. Here’s what is true today — and what we’re building toward.
Owned by Raynel Mazara, Greater Boston. You get a real person on the business line — not a ticket queue in another time zone.
Riley tells every caller she’s an AI and that the call is recorded. Massachusetts two-party consent isn’t optional — we build for it.
No annual lock-in. If it doesn’t pay for itself in captured jobs, cancel anytime. We keep the first three pilot shops’ setup fee waived.
No price quoting. No promised arrival windows. Riley takes intake and flags urgency; your team decides the job.
We’re onboarding a small set of Greater Boston plumbing and HVAC shops first. When those shops are live and willing to be named, their feedback will go here — with permission. Until then: call the demo and decide from the call, not from marketing copy.
Need a W-9, certificate of insurance, or written service terms before you forward a line? Ask — we’ll share what’s on file and what we’re still putting in place. We don’t claim trade licenses we don’t hold; Riley is a phone intake service for your business, not a licensed plumber or HVAC tech.
No annual lock-in. If it doesn’t pay for itself, cancel anytime. Minutes are for answered talk time on your line.

Pilot offer: The $499 setup fee is waived for the first 3 pilot shops. Billing stays month-to-month either way. Overage rates and exact coverage windows are confirmed when we set up your line.
Straight answers. If yours isn’t here, email Raynel — you’ll get a person, not a bot.
Fair. Call her and judge: (781) 566-8243. You can start with nights and weekends only, so you still answer during the day. Riley discloses she’s an AI on every call.
Riley tells every caller up front that she’s an AI and that the call is recorded, consistent with Massachusetts two-party consent expectations. We don’t hide the recording.
She never quotes prices or promises arrival times. She takes details and flags emergencies; your team makes the dispatch and pricing decisions. You review the lead card before you commit a truck.
A lot of owners use Riley as a cheaper backup or for overflow / overnight only. Tell us what you pay now and when calls slip through — we’ll say honestly whether it helps.
No. Plans are month-to-month. If it doesn’t pay for itself, cancel anytime.
Yes — typical setup is call forwarding (after hours, when busy, or always) to Riley. We’ll walk through the exact forwarding rules for your phone system during onboarding.
Lead cards are available in the dashboard today. SMS-to-your-phone delivery depends on carrier registration (A2P 10DLC) — we won’t promise texts until that’s live for your account. Ask us for the current delivery options when you onboard.
After you like the demo and we lock coverage windows, greeting, and emergency rules, most shops can forward a line the same week. Pilots get hands-on setup help.
Demo first if you want zero pressure. When you’re ready for nights-and-weekends coverage, the pilot spots are limited.
Local to Greater Boston. Ten minutes is usually enough to see if Riley fits your shop — or just call the demo first and decide from there.
